Art Nouveau Brooch set in Silver with a focal point carved stone that appears to be quartz or perhaps a moonstone… not certain.
This brooch is so interesting with classic Nouveau images bordering the design and a geometric.. almost Egyptian design in the center setting off the stone..
This brooch can easily be worn by a male or female..
There is no maker’s marks or silver markings to be found on this piece.. which is not unusual for the period. It seams to me to be silver.. but not certain.. as I have not tested it.
Regardless, it is an awesome piece of history.
