Beautiful 1920’s light peach Silk Chiffon Dress with a bit of a drop waist and a flowing skirt. This dress these interesting purse~like handbag appliqués with ribbon floral rosettes.. such lovely handmade details in the delicate flowers made with colorful silk ribbon.
There is a long flowing silk scarf attached to the shoulder of the dress… reminiscent of the long scarf worn by Isadora Duncan in 1927.
There is no lining with this sheer dress.. a nude slip or body stocking would work well. There are a series of side snaps as closure along the waist going up to the armpit.. to get in & out of this dress. ..
This is in VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION… with only a few minor flaws. There is some light discoloring under the armpits, but the silk is all intact there without snag holes.
There is no maker or size label attached… which is typical of this period..
I would say by the measurements, that this is a WOMEN’S SIZE Small ..
This fits the mannequin form well and it’s measurements are 34 x 27 x 36
