Beautiful 1920’s Champagne Silk Chiffon Dress with a classic scoop neck, front & back.. and a drop waist with beautifully patterned glass bead work, sequins and rhinestones. This dress has the same bead & sequins on both sides, the only difference is that the neckline has a slight point in front and a simple scoop in the back.
The hemline split into scalloped panels, with beautiful beadwork, sequins, and aurora borealis rhinestones.
There is no lining with this beaded dress.. a nude slip or body stocking would work well. There are no side snaps as closure along the waist.. so this must slip over the head to get into this.
This is in EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION… with only a few minor flaws. See last 2 images with arrows.. There are a few missing beads & sequins along the shoulder seams, but very minimal. There is no silk rot and the chiffon is strong and wearable..
There is no maker or size label attached… which is typical of this period..
I would say by the measurements, that this is a WOMEN’S SIZE Small ..

Bust taken under the arm pit to arm pit: 17 inches across = 34 inches
Waist area: 17 inches across = 34 inches
Drop waist area: 19 inches across = 38 inches
Length from the top of the shoulder to the drop waist: 23 inches
