1915-1920’s Black Silk Chiffon Beaded Dress with a classic boat neck, half sleeves and a drop waist with beautifully patterned glass beadwork. The beadwork is all over the complete dress.. front, back as well as the sleeves. This dress is fully lined with sheer silk. There are side snaps and hooks as closures. all are in working order.
This is in EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION… there is no silk rot, tears or holes in the silk chiffon or the silk lining. The fabric seems very strong. Arm pits are in great shape with no stains or rot. The only thing to mention is that there are a few missing beads here and there. Nothing to be concerned about.
The bead work is stunning, with beautiful designs formed by the beading.
This is the epitome of the Gatsby Era.. Flashy dressers full of glamour & style.
